Good to see that everyone is still looking in, how has your 2010 been going Gwen? Mine has been great - a proper winter in the UK which has meant the hills and cliffs are covered in snow and ice. Lots of climbing being done!! Kind of stopped me twee…

Anybody here use Social Oomph (used to be Tweet Later)? What do you make of the service now that the Twitter Chief twits have completely banned any repetitive posting. eg. even for responsible people, the ability to post every few hours so that you…

I may have missed this in the thread, but how does Twitter itself react to sudden rushes of follows and unfollows that will clearly produce useage spikes? I ask because my account was briefly suspended for suspicious activity - and I am one of the m…

Profile Information

Bio:
Ray Cassidy here, though I go under various names. These include CosmicRay which is probably the repressed hippy in me trying to escape and often, I pose as Stanwix Ray to be in tune with the local community website I am building for the area where I live. See www.stanwix.info

After leaving my teaching job, following a period of high stress and personal meltdown, I am bouncing back by trying my hand at the on-line business lifestyle.

This is a major challenge, as I have spent most of my life avoiding anything so risky as pushing myself out in the open where I might be "judged". I have also been a marketer's nightmare by studiously avoiding "the latest thing" or "being first" for all my adult life.

Even now after more than a year of effort trying to get my IM show on the road, I have begun to grasp the essentials and I remain determined to earn my living on this not so new frontier.

Strangely this year's journey has taken me back to the original spark that bent my interest towards computers and that is the graphical side of websites. I remain fascinated by the incredible creativity of the current crop of web designers. While I can't claim much of their creativity, I have started to develop a line of information bites which will help the "design challenged" like myself to break through those limitations and enjoy the benefits of the creative juice that's out there waiting to be drunk! I'm just beginning a blog on the topic at www.thenorthernview.biz

My other interests are based in photography and outdoor adventure activities. I love my climbing and canoeing, mixed in with a little dash of mountain biking or caving - always with camera in hand.

I have 2 amazing "middle sized" children who are also developing an unhealthy appetite for enjoying life to "The Max".

Get some Atmosphere!

Hallo folks, just found your social network site. Looks pretty cool. Not quite sure what the score is here, but I'm sure some of you guys will keep me right. Anybody got any advice to share with a marketer who seems to be genetically programmed to not be able to sell? Ho ho!

I found this place via one of Brian's videos, though the teacher in me couldn't help having a little dig at him videoing on the move! Hope he's forgiven me and isn't going to boot me off the site!

Here's me doing one of th… Continue

Thanks for that Laura - Yeah the name sucks. Does your tweetspinner let you post out to blog and RSS as well? I also use Yoono so that I can post to twitter and a range of other social sites. Have you had any experience with it?

Hi Ray I saw your post in the twitter group and if you didn't get an answer yet I use http://www.tweetspinner.com/7094385
It has an affiliate commission structure to it as well which is kind of cool but I have always preferred it to SocialOomph which I was with way before they became that silly new name lol. I hope it helps you. You can certainly join for no charge and nose around a bit but you will get more out of it in the upgraded version. It's got keyword follow, autodm, autotweets, and so much more. Hope you like!
